Aaron Dunne, inspired me to put attending a Dragon Con event on my bucket list when I first moved to Atlanta, Georgia. Aaron is a passionate character with a hybrid accent from Wales and Ireland. He landed in Atlanta, GA in the early 90's where he searched for his band and crew through an early internet science fiction fan community. But it wasn't until he settled into the city when he discovered Dragon Con when his cable was installed and he saw the event mentioned on local tv. He was immediately hooked and over the years his sci-fi fanhood evolved into being a director for many of the tracks for his favorite shows, starting with the 5 season Fox TV show SLIDERS aired from 1995-2000. Since then he has not missed a single Dragon Con in 28 years! Not even a perforated stomach ulcer and a liquid diet stopped him from attending, until the Pandemic hit and the virtual realm hindered his enthusiasm. He did reveal that there are plans for somewhat of an in person event in the making for 2021 but the plans are not set in stone and probably will not be up to the way that it was pre-pandemic. There is hope as more people become vaccinated that the event will be as big as it was again, probably not this year but hopefully next.
