According to the MatsyaPurāṇa, Abālā is a mind-born Divine Mother(Mātṛkā) created
from the Goddess’sradiance during the battle with the Andhaka demons. When theblood of the
fallen Andhakāsura gavebirth to countless new demons, Abālā and the other Mātṛkās
manifested to stop the chaos. With divine fury, they drank the blood of the Andhakas,
restoring balance tocreation. Though her name means “gentle” or “not weak,” Abālā represents
the hiddenstrength of serenity, the power of purity thatconquers darkness and upholds
Dharma.
Thank You….
