Abbott Infant and Toddler Ready-To-Feed Drinks May Be Spoiled

The FDA and Abbott now recall multiple 2 fluid ounce Similac and Pedialyte products.  The bottles have defective caps that fail to seal leaking to the distinct possibilities of spoilable and microorganism growth.  If children consume these products, they could develop serious gastroenteritis.  The affect brands include Similac Pro-Total ComfortTM, 360 Total Care, 360 Total Care Sensitive, Special Care 24, Stage 1, Neosure, Similac Water Sterilized, and Pedialyte Electrolyte Solution.  These products were sold in the continental USA , Puerto Rico, Barbados, Bermuda, Colombia, the Dominican Republic, Haiti, Jamaica, St. Croix, St. Thomas, Canada, Curacao, Panama, and Trinidad-Tobago.  If you have any of these products at home, do not feed them to your babies.  To check if your product is included in the recall, visit the website similacrecall.com.  If you have additional questions, direct them to Abbott’s Consume Relations phone lines.  The US number is 1-800-986-8540; the Puerto Rican number is 1-787-622-5454.  Though these lines, you can obtain the phone numbers for other Caribbean and South American countries.
