From Ep 168: Dry hard ciders from a wild yeast and local fruits
After many years of making ciders in his kitchen, Conor McManus took his hobby to the level. By partnering with several orchards and Vermont brewers at first, he started selling Mountain Mac ciders commercially. In 2022, he took over Happy Valley Orchard and gained a production facility, a store and an event space. In this interview, Conor talks about how his upbringing steered him back towards trees and fruits and how he approaches the hard ciders he produces.
