Who are you abiding in? This week we explored Jesus' beautiful invitation in John 15: "Remain in me, as I also remain in you." It's not a one-sided relationship—He wants to make His home in us as we make our home in Him.

In a world forming us toward hurry, anxiety, and distraction, Jesus offers a better way. Abiding isn't passive—it's choosing to stay when you want to leave, to continue when it gets hard, to dwell when distractions call. Like the father in the prodigal son story, God is on the porch waiting, practicing abiding, ready to welcome you home.

This is the year of formation at Purpose Church. We're learning that practice makes formation, not perfection. When we remain connected to the Vine, we bear much fruit. The invitation today is simple: come home and stay. Trust Him with your stuff. Open the door He's knocking on.
