I'm sure you have heard by now, but the historical decision of Roe. v. Wade has been overturned by our current supreme court. This has spiked quite the outrage from those of the pro-choice side of the issue and excitement from those from the pro-life side of the issue. Christian and I have never done a podcast, specifically dealing with abortion, so here it is! We are not so much focused on the overturning of Roe v. Wade, but we are focused on looking at all of the facts from the development of the fetus, from scripture and from philosophy. We also spent a great portion of the podcast responding to some of the best arguments from the pro-choice side of the debate. Does a fetus really have the qualities of personhood? At what point does someone become a person? Does the Bible have anything to say about babies in the womb? Should abortion be a legal right of the mother, or should a shot at life be the right of the unborn fetus? What about in rare cases of rape, incest or when the health of the mother is at risk? What if the baby is going to be placed into ungodly foster care and grow up horribly? There are lots of questions surrounding this issue, so Christian and I tried our best to tackle and discuss these difficult questions!
