This week I sat in a nursing home in Iowa watching my grandfather sleep.

Somewhere between hospice pamphlets, a fountain Coke I never finished, a story about my dad wanting a Milky Way candy bar, and a cup of coffee with Miss Argentina from Beetlejuice, I realized something:

We spend our whole lives acting like we have time.

Time to make the call.
Time to take the trip.
Time to say we're sorry.
Time to start living.

But life isn't waiting.

It's happening right now.

In the conversations.
In the grocery store runs.
In the people sitting right in front of us.

In this episode of Pandora's Box, I talk about living on borrowed time, why people matter more than possessions, and how I finally realized I've been acting like the receptionist of my own life.

Taking messages.
Waiting for permission.
Telling myself I'd live later.

Today I quit.
