The designation, worthless sacrifices, is an oxymoron. By definition a sacrifice can not be worthless as it cost the one sacrificing. However, from a certain perspective, we can offer to God that which cost us nothing making our sacrifice worthless to him and us. I hope I have said something here that will cause all of us to evaluate what we give our Lord.
