Brooke shares her story of childhood sexual abuse and how it affected her life, even when she had no memory of what had happened. After dissociating from the abuse as a young child, her various struggles made no sense until she began experiencing flashbacks in her twenties. The impact was devastating and brought her to breaking point.

Through counselling, Brooke began working through the painful memories and came to terms with what had happened. Then, one supernatural encounter with God changed everything!

Brooke was told she would never be able to have children after being born with half a uterus and only one fallopian tube. But then God did the impossible. Her missing reproductive organs were supernaturally restored, and since then, Brooke has witnessed God move in miraculous power to bring healing to others. Brooke was part of a cult-like Christian organisation for several years, an experience that shattered her view of God, herself, and her future. After rejecting her faith and walking away, she faced the painful process of healing, overcoming mistrust, and unlearning false beliefs. Brooke discovered how to separate God from people—and learned that while people may let you down, God never will.

Brooke spent most of her life believing she was gay and could never change. Feeling like she’d failed God, she walked away and married a woman—facing judgment and ridicule from others. But how did God respond? Watch to find out what happened.

Brooke was diagnosed with severe clinical mental illness and given what felt like a life sentence—that she would not recover. Tormented by deep internal pain, self-harm, and suicidal thoughts, hopelessness and a longing for death marked much of her life.
