Listen Later

Join Host Adriane Harden and two special guests.  Larry "Lak" Henderson  and Michael Ta'Bon.  Larry (Lak) Henderson is a Hip Hop Educator.  Lak pronounced "Lock" has a passion for educating youth about history through rap.  Lak is the co-founder, CEO, recording artist and co-executive producer of Smart Music Entertainment.  He has recently put out a new album called Lesson One: Hip-Hop & Education, that has gotten some very positive reviews in the media.  Dominion of New York Magazine says, "Most people who use hip-hop to educate children do so badly. Lak does it so well that after a kid shares his music with you, you'll secretly download the album yourself."
Michael TaBon aka O.G. Law is an ex-con gone rapper and community activist.  O.G. Law  is  attempting to make yuth aware of the repercussion that come along with living a lifestyle that is not conducive to their well being and the severity of jeopardizing their future by becoming incarcerated. He is spending the whole month of February in Atlanta in a makeshift jail cell to show youth that this is not the lifestyle they want to live.  He also has a 5 year old son that is  a community activist as well.
Join us for this great show and an alternative way to reach our youth through music.
