Abrahamic Life Covenant Blessing

Abraham and Life’s temporal ways, the death of Sarah, and the finding of a wife for Isaac all come to the forefront in this episode from the Torah. It is Life Covenant Blessing and we are speaking of Abraham. The truth of the Covenant is Life, provision, and a personal relationship to this Great God and Father. Here is the continual aspect of Abraham and his family. Abraham had faith, he was called out from among them, and he obeyed and went.

This faith, calling, and obedience followed Abraham wherever he went. In this guidance was there for Abraham. He did not have to search the planet for the Great God whom he served, for this Great God continually was with him. As with this, we as believers have faith in Yeshua Ha Massiach, Jesus Christ who brings us to the Father which is found in John 14:6. We have been told to “come out from among them my people” in Rev 18. We also find Abraham Passing the Covenant Torch to Isaac. We are also commanded that the Lords words abide in us [John 15:7]; and that we are to keep his commandments [John 15:10], and that is directly related to the realization that if you do this, “you shall abide in my Love” [John 15:10].

There is so much to the real life of Abraham, Sarah, and Isaac. Lesson’s for us all, especially of a faithful God, Jehovah who fulfilled what he promised Abraham. The life covenant blessing was passed onto Isaac, then on through the line. In all this the truth of the promised seed never dies but moves through generations of men. It is the God of all generations who foresees such magnificence and makes sure his promise is fulfilled to those he gave it too. But it incumbent upon those to whom the promise is given to be faithful, to come out from among them, and to obey

Life, Death, and the Lords Covenantal Blessings

And Sarah died in Kirjatharba; the same is Hebron in the land of Canaan: and Abraham came to mourn for Sarah, and to weep for her. Gen 23:2

Then Abraham gave up the ghost, and died in a good old age, an old man, and full of years; and was gathered to his people. Gen 25:8

And it came to pass after the death of Abraham, that God blessed his son Isaac; and Isaac dwelt by the well Lahairoi. Gen 25:11
