I  go by Abstrak Mind (A.M.) and I"m an artist/songwriter from Chicago IL.  I started writing music because I felt the direction in which the  Hip-Hop culture was being driven was not a good one. I wanted to play my  part in bringing back that diversity that it once had throughout the  90's. The music that I orchestrate is made strictly off of feeling. I  make music for different moods and refuse to be placed in a box as a  certain type of artist. I make music for everybody, because I would like  for the entire world to embrace my musical sound, and the only way to  do that is being diverse in the music being created.
