According to Mahatma Gandhi, poverty is the worst form of violence. These words are quite powerful and yet they deliver a message that goes beyond mere material poverty. When there is poverty in spirit, people are prone to violence. Poverty in spirit is the absence of hope. Material poverty is one thing that should not be taken lightly, but spiritual poverty is more pervasive than we would imagine.
Taking up on our God given wealth of spirit, we can address and combat the challenges of this world. First we much overtake spiritual poverty. When we realize how rich we are in spirit, all other challenges fall into perspective.
