This year, there are more carrier options if you live in the Ozarks. And despite no penalty, area counties are seeing an increase in the number of people signing up.
About 20 million people will be signing up for health coverage through the ACA nationwide. The numbers in the Ozarks are going up, too.
In Greene County, 12,685 people have enrolled so far. Of those, 3,594 are new enrollees. Christian County has about 4,100 people enrolled. And Taney County, about 3,000. Those numbers include new enrollees.
