Leviticus 9:1-24

“How can I be confident that when I worship God He accepts my worship?” Is acceptable worship a matter of how robust it is? Is it measured by degrees of excited-ness? What if my worship is feeble? Does that matter? Just what assurance do any of us have that when we worship Yahweh He accepts our sacrifice of praise? On the surface this chapter seems like the last place to find answers to such questions, but nothing could be further from the truth. In Leviticus 9 we discover what makes for acceptable worship according to the LORD God. Main Idea—When we prepare to worship in obedience to the LORD’s Word we can be confident in His acceptance of our worship.
