Access to Justice

Listen Later

In this episode, we are joined by guests, Jane Basham, former Chief Executive Officer of Norfolk Community Law Service (NCLS) and Polly Morgan, Associate Professor in Law at the University of East Anglia (UEA) and director of the university’s law clinic.

The episode was recorded ahead of Jane leaving her role with NCLS earlier this year, and explores the collaborative relationship the charity has with the local legal community, the UEA, and generally the barriers people can face in accessing legal support.

An interesting listen on how people access legal advice and the diverse scope of social welfare law - as well as for both practicing and future lawyers who would like to support and get involved.
