Topic: ACCESSING GOD'S HOLY PLACE (Part 2)!
Memory Verse: "He shall receive the blessing from the LORD, and righteousness from the God of his salvation" - Psalm 24:5 KJV
Bible Text: Psalm 24:3-4 KJV
3. Who shall ascend into the hill of the LORD? Or who shall stand in his holy place?
4. He that hath clean hands, and a pure heart; Who hath not lifted up his soul unto vanity, nor sworn deceitfully.
INSPIRATION: Ascending the hill of the Lord to stand in His holy place should be the desire of every believer. However, it is expected of you to meet certain critical criteria to so do. Holiness is at the core of these expectations. You can't be holy and not desire his presence; you can't desire His presence and not be a true worshipper. Real heartfelt worship is at the core of our relationship with God, and nobody offers genuine worship in a sinful state.
Believers must begin to take their holiness walk more seriously. Without holiness, no one can see the Lord (Heb. 12: 14). Being holy is being set apart, sanctified for God. It is not an outward pious display but an inner transformation and appreciation of God's finished work of grace in Christ Jesus. Ascending to stand before God's holy place is the essence of our Christian walk. Sin would either keep you from this experience or the experience would keep sin far away from you. The fire, glory and blessings that come with His presence should never be wished away or traded off!
TODAY'S TAKE HOME:
The presence of God transforms. In all of your pursuit, hunger genuinely for His presence.
PRAYER: Dear Lord, thank you for the power of Your presence and for drawing me close to You. Your glory draws me into Your presence where Your holiness rubs off on me graciously. All I want is to know You and to walk in the righteousness that enables me to approach Your throne anytime, in Jesus name.
