She retired four years ago after a 33-year career as a Police Dispatcher & Supervisor with a local police department.  She is running for the Alpine Community Planning Group after seeing a lack of community outreach by the County prior to making changes to roads & signage in her town. She became an 'accidental activist' after Covid, and is now stepping out in faith to run for office.
