Learn About How People Become Accidental Saints in a Fraction of the Time It Takes to Listen to the Actual Book!
Nadia is a woman who grew up with a very strict view of how to imagine Christ, God, and the Bible. Because of that, she felt she just couldn't live up to what she was taught, so she withdrew and became a different person. She went through trials and tribulations, maybe more than some of us do. She was a drug user and abused alcohol. She was angry, depressed, and scared. But, somehow, she came through the other side. Despite still being a swearing, sarcastic, tattooed, and sometimes angry woman, she found her way back to God and became a Lutheran pastor for All Saints and Sinners Church in Colorado. She felt like she never fit in as she was growing up, and that has actually helped her lead her fellow parishioners through their own troubles. She uses her stories, tells her truths, and is fully open about herself showing that she is not perfect to help them see what a hard, wonderful, tough, beautiful, strange place we all share through God's grace. Five Stars
Besides writing well, she is not bound by any pre-conceived theological formulas, but thinks clearly and completely.
Five Stars
A very different but believable story!
A real dud
This is, presumably intended to be a spiritually uplifting and inspiring work. I gave up after 6 chapters. It is neither. It is pointlessly preachy, and profanes deity. Highly not recommended. I received this product free of charge, in exchange for my honest review.
for those of us with our own spiritual struggles this can be an amazing and insightful book
With honesty and vulnerability, the author shares her spiritual struggles as she learns and grows in her faith. Although some my be put off by her use of vulgar words at times, for those of us with our own spiritual struggles this can be an amazing and insightful book.
This is the worst writing I have ever read
This is the worst writing I have ever read. My nine year old actually writes better than this author. I had trouble making sense of most of the paragraphs.
