The University of Kentucky Center for Clinical and Translational Science kicked off its annual Spring Research Days with a keynote panel featuring acclaimed historian and author John M. Barry. His 2004 book “The Great Influenza: The Story of the Deadliest Pandemic in History” was a New York Times bestseller and named by the National Academies of Science as the year’s outstanding book on science or medicine.
