On this week's episode of The Pregame, Kat and Nikki are joined by Frances Wang, Reporter and Anchor for CBS Miami. Frances is a Sacramento native, who had dreams of becoming a reporter as a young girl watching a local news station report the lunch time hour news at the shopping mall across from her mom's stand. Fast forward to post-graduation and she landed a job working with the reporters that she once admired. As a young, Asian-American woman, Frances pushed through the boundaries of the "boys club" and old-school news, becoming a Top 20 Market reporter by the age of 23. She also shares with us how the time of the pandemic is effecting the media, Asian-Americans, and how we need to stop making it a productivity contest.
