Accounting Basics in Australia - 3 Things Every Small Business Should Do! // Owning a small business means you have to wear many hats and one of those hats is accounting basics. 

In this video I run through the three things I believe are the accounting basics for small businesses here in Australia. It very much is Accounting 101 but that is all you truly need to have a handle on! You can’t possibly worry yourself with being an expert at everything while you also try to take on marketing, sales, websites, managing teams, product/service delivery and so forth.

Accounting standards in Australia are different to other countries so it’s important that you make sure you understand what is required of you here in Australia.

In this video I also reference Xero Australia which is a great program for small businesses and has all of your small business accounting basics. Always make sure you do your due diligence.
