Joy Matthews-Lopez, PhD, is an experienced psychometrician and former chair of the National Commission for Certifying Agencies, the premier board that awards accreditation to certification programs. Joy has more than two decades of experience with certification, including Prometric, National Association of Boards of Pharmacy, Professional Testing Inc. She is currently President of JML Measurement and Testing Services and partners with Assessment Systems for key projects as well. Joy earned her Doctorate from the University of Ohio and Master's from North Carolina State University.
