Every five years, school districts must go through a lengthy process to attain accreditation every five years.  It’s a huge undertaking, but it’s very important for the students. Monroe County Schools will undergo review this week.  To explain the process and what it means for our students, we spoke with Alicia Elder, Assistant Superintendent for Teaching and Learning.

Also, the Monroe County School Nutrition Program has an exciting announcement this week.   It's a new partnership that will offer students a true farm-to-table experience.  Program Director Lisa Budd gives us the inside scoop.
