When the Gills went 1-0 down early in the second half away at Accrington Stanley, most Gills fans at the Wham Stadium and following from afar had a similar sinking feeling. But, in a remarkable turnaround, Conor Masterson headed in an equaliser, then super-sub Macauley Bonne slammed home a winner.

Yes, that’s right, ladies and gentlemen. Gillingham came from behind to win a game of football. And they did it away from home, to boot.
