In preparation of Season 3 of The Aged Care Enrichment Podcast (25th Jan 2022), we're looking back fondly on some of our favourite episodes over the next few weeks, starting with Dementia Beyond Behaviour with Dr. Al Power (originally released in March 2021).

Al is a geriatrician, educator and author whose work centres around transformational models of care particularly for those living with dementia or other shifting cognitive abilities.

His work and opinions are highly influential within dementia care circles and heโ€™s an outspoken critic of whatโ€™s called Behavioural and Psychological Symptoms of Dementia, and the treatment ideology that comes along with it.

This is a really interesting and exciting conversation during this current time, as Al is a passionate advocate for challenging our care norms. One not to miss!
