Acid embodies both a playful and hypnotic spirit. Two qualities I think engage and light up a dance floor. In this mix I tried to strike a balance between tracks with interesting sound design, midwest flavoured techno groove and wack out acid lines!

DJ Hockey loves music that is strange, beautiful, and energetic. By selecting tracks designed to stimulate both your brain and body, his sets slowly unfurl and reveal a kaleidoscope of colours and emotions. He integrates his queer essence into mixes by selecting tracks with bite and sass —whether that be a jacking and energetic percussive loop, sultry low-end energy, or intriguing ear candy. With well received releases including his debut vinyl release on Fixed Rhythms, in addition to various digital EP’s on PPRZ and Modelfuture, DJ Hockey is propelling his signature brand of warp speed techno with his productions and is working on more for 2026.

DJ Hockey started PPRZ records and mix series with Adam 2 with the intention to showcase techno from the PNW and beyond.
