Nächster Tag, noch immer begleitet mich das Sägewerk auf meinen Wanderungen. Das ich heute noch weniger von den meiner Kindheit unterscheiden kann. Was fehlt sind die Holz- und Bretterstapel auf denen wir wagemutig herumgetollt sind. Denke ich, bis ich stimmengewaltig herausgerissen werde. 

Next day, the sawmill still accompanies me on my hikes. That today I can distinguish even less from those of my childhood. What's missing are the stacks of wood and boards on which we daringly romped around. I think until I am torn out with a mighty voice.
