Today we’ll be looking at storytelling and how your creative business can best craft a compelling narrative, so we’re joined by award winning corporate film director Gavin Buxton Knight who’s going to help us better understand how storytelling can help educate, entertain and incite action in these turbulent times, as well as Steve Garvey from Moving image news who’s going to give us some insight into what’s driving the corporate stories that you’ll soon be telling.

Steve Garvey has been a corporate communications industry insider for over 30 years, Steve has worked in senior roles in corporate communications and headed up multinational video agency world television. Nowadays Steve heads up Moving Image News which is the leading independent hub for insights into brand video and corporate film.

Gavin Knight 

Gavin Knight is on a mission against brand gobbledegook, delivering one beautiful film at a time. He makes compelling content for brands such as Microsoft, Deloitte & the Financial Times using documentary, drama or humour (sometimes all three!). Gavin started his career in TV as a runner.  He soon became a Producer & has worked around the globe in search of the perfect story through agencies such as WorldWide (TV/Corporate) & then as a co-owner of Firehouse (Commercials/Branded Content).

Now freelance, his work has won over 30 International awards including three Best of Festivals & seven GOLD Awards @BFI EVCOM London Film Festival.
