Poem written in " Shakespearic " Mood about the cement on Parthenon - one of the World's most important monuments, of great significance for humanity 's culture, memory, heritage. The reason turns out to be dramatic. They want to " sell " the monument even for fashion shows!!! Artists, poets, scientists, citizens resist worldwide. Ladies and Gentlemen 

Boys and Girls

Hear now the news 

from my city's wells!

An ugly lady has spread her works 

over the sacred time - clocks! 

One was the Parthenon 

The second is Pisa 

The third is unknown 

but the fourth was Giza 

The first is cemented 

The second has fallen 

The third is hope 

but the fourth is stolen 

Forgive my irrational words 

but this danger needs your spiritual swords! 

Act like knights! 

Fly in the nights! 

Once we are Free 

Beauty and Love  

shall grow like a tree! 

Defend Acropolis 

No more cement 

And the evil root 

shall crush and bend!
