Pastor Paula continues her series on the Book of Acts of the Apostles with the story of the selection of a replacement for Judas. After having been betrayed by such a close friend, the disciples could have been stuck and kept from moving forward for fear they would make a mistake like Judas had turned out to be, but instead, they trusted God, prayed, and moved forward. That is what we are called to do, as well, when things don't turn out the way we expected them to and this passage gives us a solid way to do that in our own lives.
Opening; Scriptures-1:55; Message-4:50; Hymn-"What a Friend We Have in Jesus" "-14:16; Community Connection-16:36; Closing-18:30
Scripture Text is a paraphrase based on Act. 1:12-26
Many thanks to Pastor Dan McKnight, the opening announcer, Camy Wenberg who sings "What a Friend We Have in Jesus" and Ruth Skinner who sings the closing song.
