The Republic is in a new renaissance. The newly christened Starlight Beacon serves as a ray of hope in the far reaches of the galaxy. But the era of peace and prosperity is under siege.

The Great Hyperspace Disaster has spread fear across the stars. And as the brave Jedi Knights race respond to the catastrophe, new threats emerges. The Nihil, anarchistic outlaws from the edges of the Outer Rim, sow Discord throughout the galaxy.

In the Anoat sector, a pair of Jedi Knights drop out of hyperspace on their journey back to Bavva. Picking up a distress call, the two begin to investigate, unaware of the dangers that lie ahead.
