Have you ever woken up in the morning with a song on your heart? It wasn’t even a song you had heard lately or been listening to before you went to bed the night before. Could it be that this is the song the LORD was singing over you in the night? I believe this is often what has happened when you wake up with a song. Did you know that this is one of the ways that God speaks to us in our internal hearing receptor?

Zephaniah 3:17 tells us that:
The Lord your God in your midst,
The Mighty One, will save;
He will rejoice over you with gladness, He will quiet you with His love,
He will rejoice over you with singing.

God rejoices over you with singing. He is singing songs over your life right now and those who have an ear to hear will catch His melodies. God sings over us because He’s looking for our agreement. When we sing what He is singing, we are agreeing with His voice over our life which then can accelerate His purposes.
