In this Blind Vet Tech Quick Guides and Tutorials podcast, we describe how to activate Braille Screen Input through the Voice Over Rotor. The Braille Screen Input is a great alternative to the standard onscreen keyboard and very similar to M-Braille. This task requires one to preform the following actions:
* Open the Settings App and navigate to General, Accessibility, and Voice Over. Asking Siri to “open Voice Over Settings” will accomplish this as well.
* Navigate to Rotor, below Braille )which is for Braille displays).
* Find Braille Screen Input at the bottom of the Rotor’s list and tap to select it
We hope you enjoy this tutorial on how to activate the Braille Screen Input on your iPhone and iPad. A subsequent podcast will explore how to use the Braille Screen Input to navigate your home screen and input text.
