Interview with Sarina Srisakul, the first Asian American woman firefighter in the FDNY. She is the founder of Angry Asian Womxn, providing free self defense kits to AAPI women, femmes, and gender expansive people. She organizes around safety justice, healing, and feminism within the AAPI community.

Rohan Zhou-Lee is a queer, non-binary, Black Asian activist, community organizer, public speaker, writer, dancer, and musician. They are the founder of Blasian March, a Black Asian solidarity initiative through education and celebration.

It's been a couple years since the last episode of this podcast. The Covid-19 pandemic shut down everything in a haste and the studio where I recorded, Canal Street Radio, was closed for an indefinite amount of time. Thus, the podcast went on hiatus. I decided to bring back the podcast, now that life has opened up post-pandemic. Canal Street Radio re-opened their doors and have graciously allowed me to come back to record this podcast. Interview with Abdullah Younus, Director of Political Engagement at the New York Immigration Coaltion (NYIC), where he leads the organization's Federal, State, and Local legislative and policy campaigns to push for a more inclusive New York. Abdullah is also a part of the Democratic Socialists of America (DSA), the largest socialist organization in the United States.

Interview with Lilly Walsingham, a 21-year-old environmental studies major at NYU who organizes with Sunrise Movement, a youth-led movement to stop climate change and create millions of good jobs in the process. Their goal is to make climate change an urgent priority across America, end the corrupting influence of fossil fuel executives on our politics, and elect leaders who stand up for the health and wellbeing of all people.

Interview with Tom Corcoran, a community activist and digital organizer at Bend the Arc, mobilizing the American Jewish community to fight white nationalism and act in solidarity with other marginalized communities.
