A Hero's Tail - book of short stories about the expolits of police dogs (exciting, funny, sad etc) on sale to raise money for the South Wales Police Dog Section to fund new kennels.  The dog section provided the reports that John Gaye (Vice Chairman Dogs Trust) turned into stories. Wood Green paid for the printing of the book.  Unfortunately, sales through Amazon and book shops produce little profit because they take such a large cut, but direct sales are more profitable.  Thus, we are taking opportunities to get straight to the public.  Charities and vets will be selling the book and taking a small profit for themselves, and Mike Townsend has agreed that The Kennel Club Charitable Trust will sell the book at Discover Dogs.  The book costs £9.99 and the Trust will receive £2.50 for each book sold at Dogs.
