The Righteous Rich

Actor Junaid on Success, Purpose, Chasing Dreams & Mental Health

Listen Later

What looks good on the outside may not look good on the inside. The death of celebrities has sparked new discussions about mental health and spirituality. Instead of bringing them happiness and freedom at the top of their game, Riches leads them to an identity crisis and uncertainty on their self-worth. But for sure, it is not precisely the same with all actors. Some use acting careers for their self-development too. I got a chance to interview one of my handsome fitness buddies, the one and only Muhammed Junaid, who is now an actor living in Canada. He shared what a challenging road his career has taken and what he has learned from the struggle, how actors get an opportunity to get into self-awareness, live the life of their dreams. Junaid is a brilliant person with profoundly spiritual values, and we got into all of the big questions about life.

  • I asked Junaid a few questions:
  • What do you enjoy more, being an actor or being a model?
  • What caused him to move to Toronto?
  • How did he convince himself first, and what was the internal state of mind?
  • What are some of the personal challenges he had to face in his journey?
  • When opportunities started knocking on his door, did he take up or give up?
  • What's his take on actors committing suicide and rising mental health issues in film industries?
  • What does it mean to have a Fulfilling Life?
  • What’s that one thing he is most proud of that most people don’t know about?
  • Lastly, His advice for aspiring models and actors.
