Founder & Ex-CEO of an old #Bangalore name, Pari’s, Kalpana Rao pioneered the idea of Indianised #maternity and nursing wear. Having closed her 24-year-old business, at age 55, she moved alone to #Mumbai with her signature silver hair to pursue a career in acting. She had a well-received supporting role in Darbar with lead protagonist Rajnikanth. She even had a small role in Salman Khan's Dabangg 3. She's had the privilege to be in the #VoteIndia ad with #SRK. She's done a couple of web-series for Netflix and other OTT platforms, she also features in many ads and commercials. A motivational #speaker, she last year took the stage at Ted-X Chandigarh opening the TEDx Talks for an audience of 800! She is a #mentor for many and she's always looking for opportunities to support young talent trying to make their mark in the world. These days she's also motivating 1000's of people on Clubhouse on a daily basis.
