Actor, Steve Anderson is abolitionists Thaddeus Stevens!

The Gist of Freedom show talks with Steve Anderson a multi-dimensional talent; Mr. Anderson is an Actor, Voice-over expert and E-book Narrator. As part of Pennsylvania state's Civil War Trails program, Steve a Past Player, researched and studied the history of 19th century Pennsylvania. Steve will discuss the history of Gettysburg's African American community. Mr. Anderson also portrayed abolitionist Thaddeus Stevens. He'll give us an insight of the period through the life and times of Thaddeus Stevens, an attorney in Gettysburg and state representative who went on to become a leading member of Congress. Thaddeus Stevens saved public education in Pennsylvania, pushed hard for Abolition, and
