We begin our journey through Acts by connecting Luke 24 with Acts 1:1–8. Jesus gives His disciples final teaching on the Kingdom of God as the covenant between God and man, marked by righteousness, peace, and joy in the Holy Spirit. As the disciples struggle with tough covenant questions, Jesus points them toward a Spirit-empowered witness that will carry the gospel from Jerusalem to the very ends of the earth.
