In ignorance the locals react wrongly to the miracle and oratory skill of Paul. They assume that Paul and Barnabas are gods. Once Paul and Barnabas realize they are about to perform sacrifices for them, they rush into the crowd of people and rent their garments. Paul is stoned and left for dead, then rises up and moves onto the next city. At the end of this episode Paul's missionary polices are reviewed.
