We may not deal with magic or demons today. Or do we? We certainly deal with demonic influences and the prevalence of syncretism, both in culture and in our own hearts. Even within the Christian community notions that are more magical than truly spiritual prevail. This text causes us to think through the way the name of Jesus can be used either reverently or irreverently in fighting the battles of the Christian life.
