Understanding a persons past is critical for understanding who a person is, and often times, allows us insight into the reasoning behind their actions! In this sermon, we delve a little deeper into, as Paul refers to it, "my former life in Judaism", in order to ascertain a motive, and reasoning behind some of his actions. We also see two very distinct traits developed in Paul at the very beginning of his ministry that are the defining foundation for every great man of God: humility and submission! You see, Paul once lived for a kingdom of this earth that produced a sense of entitlement and pride, so when Jesus wanted to use Him for His Kingdom, He had to break him down to build him up, the right way, so as to be a vessel able to be used!
