Acts 23 - Paul's Defense Before the Council

The class goes verse-by-verse through Acts 23 and the 1st part of 24. 

Paul’s accusers became even more vocal and attempted to strike Paul. Paul diverted their attention by taking advantage of the division between Sadducees and Pharisees. The uproar became even more furious until the Romans decided to take him away to be held in better safety and to quell the public riot. The leaders of the Jews decided on a plot to kill Paul, but his nephew overheard the plot and reported it to the Romans. As a result, Roman soldiers spirited Paul away to Caesarea. Chapter 24 begins with Paul being brought before governor Felix.
