The church in its infancy, learns an important lesson that there has to be some discipline. God is not just going to let things slide and sweep them under the rug. Sign gifts: Given by God, to the apostles, to show that the apostles were the leading authority over the New Testament Church. God started His work with the family. Then directly to man. Then through Jesus. Now through His word. The wisdom from above is first pure then peaceable.
