To the Ends of the Earth - A Study Through Acts || At the end of Acts 6 Stephen is brought before the council and falsely accused. In chapter 7 we read his response. But rather than defend himself, Stephen, who was full of the Spirit, gives a history lesson that focuses on God’s faithfulness despite Israel’s unfaithfulness. At the end of this speech, he turns the tables on his stiff-necked accusers, confronting them with their rejection of the Spirit and their murdering of the long-awaited Messiah.
