As we see exemplified in the life of Paul, it’s clear that God sometimes raises up lighting rods: natural leaders but also, possibly, polarizing leaders. As Paul says in Romans 12:11, “Never be lacking in zeal, but keep your spiritual fervor, serving the Lord.” So be zealous in your faith, pray for an overwhelming zeal in your life, but be sure not to be offensive with that zeal.
