In the first three chapters of Acts, we find that when the church consists of teaching, fellowship, and prayer, the results are unity, generosity, and joy. Acts also tells us that we all have a gift, a promise, power, and a purpose--and the power of God is given to us to do good works and acts of love that should always point people to Jesus.
