In Genesis 15, Abram had to drive away the birds that came to devour his sacrifice. In Matthew 13, Jesus described birds coming to steal the seed before it could take root. In both passages, something sacred was under attack.

The enemy wants to steal what you give to God, and he wants to steal what God gives to you.

In this message, “Wings Over the Altar,” we look at the importance of spiritual vigilance, guarding our worship, protecting the Word planted in our hearts, and refusing to allow spiritual scavengers to consume what God is doing in our lives.

But the story of wings does not end with birds that devour. Over the Ark of the Covenant were the wings of the cherubim, covering the mercy seat and overshadowing what was sacred.

Drive away the wings that come to steal.
Get beneath the wings that cover.

What does it really mean to live a blessed life?

In this lesson, we look at four foundational principles that shape our walk with God:

• The condition of the heart
• Putting God first
• Refusing to let money become our master
• Living with open hands

The blessed life is about much more than finances. It is about trust, lordship, stewardship, generosity, and recognizing God as the true source of everything we have.

Our heart determines what we put first. What we put first reveals who our master is. And who our master is determines how we live with what God places in our hands.

Heart → First → Master → Hands

The blessed life is not simply about having more. It is about God having all of us.

Sometimes we look at our lives and only see what is missing. Israel looked around the wilderness and saw uncertainty, lack, and difficulty. But when God looked back on those same forty years, He said, “Thou hast lacked nothing.”

In Him dwells all the fullness.

The question is whether we are investing our lives in what will last forever.

Clear Scripture interprets difficult Scripture.

The revelation is Jesus.

Joseph received the dream in the light, but he had to carry it through the dark.

He faced betrayal, the pit, slavery, false accusation, prison, and years of being forgotten. Yet through every season, the Bible declares, “The Lord was with Joseph.”

In this message, Pastor Cody Tipton reminds us that darkness does not mean the dream is dead. God is still working, preparing, and developing you even when your circumstances seem to contradict what He promised.

What is the one name connected to the Father, Son, and Holy Ghost in Matthew 28:19?

David desired to bring the Ark of the Covenant back to Jerusalem. The Ark represented the presence, power, and glory of God, but David initially tried to transport it on a new cart. His intentions were sincere, but God’s glory could not be carried according to human preference or convenience.

When David returned for the Ark, he did it God’s way. The cart was abandoned, and the Ark was placed upon the shoulders of the priests.

God’s glory was never meant to be placed on a man-made system. It was meant to be carried by consecrated people.

The question is not simply whether we desire the presence of God. The question is, what will we do with His glory when He places it in our lives? Will we treat it casually, attempt to control it, or carry it with obedience, reverence, sacrifice, and responsibility?

This message challenges every believer to become someone God can trust to carry His presence into their home, church, community, and generation.
