Generosity is a sacrificial act. So how do we become generous people? One of the first steps is prayer for boldness because boldness goes beyond our circumstances. It’s not always greediness that prevents generosity—more often than not, it’s fear. But we have to let God’s loves for us and his promises make us bold. Boldness in God’s word leads to generosity, and generosity is about knowing others.
